Potty Training! + Our Small Business

Yes, finally. I am serious about this process. My 2 almost 3 year old son will be potty trained by the end of the year and will be fully in underwear. lol. I feel like throwing some underwear on him now and saying. "No more diapers! Mommy is tired of diapers!!" :P
He did go already today! So yay. We've tried to work on it in the past, but it never stuck. I felt like I was with Samuel so much back then that I feel like potty training would be adding more supervising time than I wanted to give with no help. Now I got more compassion and understanding and help from others so I'm more willing to go hung go on this! Tired of forking out $6 to $10 for 23 diapers. We finally have a job scheduled this month on thursday! A possible job on Saturday..so now we're rollin' somewhere..before our business was very very, um, unwantingly quiet. Today i'm just picking up stuff around the house. Samuel is down for his nap time (well, suppose to be..right now he's quietly playing in his room..he'll go down soon..but at least he's playing by himself). My husband will be home from work in about an hour or so..I'm still trying to figure out what cheap way to use beef stew meat not in a beef stew recipe and with less ingredients as possible, but still taste good. lol. Homemade popsicles + Church / nursing home + Bike rides + Swimming + fun!

Hello there. How is everybody in blog land doing? I'm sore, but other than that i'm doing pretty good. We went on bicycle ride on Sunday evening and swimming in my parents pool after church and after I went to the nursing home. I go ever 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month with a couple other ladies from church. It's definitely a blessing. The bike ride was nice. Mark and I ride on the tandem because I can't ride a bike by myself (scoliosis -- I had a full spinal infusion done when I was 12 on it. I leaned forward a little bit before hand, but now it's all good. I just have limitations in life.) Without the tandem I would never be able to enjoy bike rides. So I thank God for those bikes! Today (Monday), I was worn out from sunday..today was a pretty lazy day except for the evening. We had choir rehearsal for church. Then we went to the store to get milk and juice. Then Mark went down in the basement to scrub the basement floor from the flood that happened last thursday night (just been so busy). I had Samuel help pick up his toys and I vacuumed the living room. Did a load of dishes in the dish washer. Then Samuel and I colored for a while in one of his coloring books. Uncle joined in later. Samuel's been in bed for a few hours already now though. So it hasn't been all lazy. :)
My grandma bought me popsicle molds to make homemade popsicles in. What are your favorite recipes? I never made homemade popsicles. It'll be a new experience for me.

Friday or Saturday? Mhmm.

Soo..what day would you call it at 2:30am? Friday cause you still haven't gone to bed yet or would you technically go by Saturday..since after midnight it technically is Saturday? lol. Yeah, I'm like protesting sleep. I'll probably go to bed soon after I post this. A potato salad that my mom makes that's yummy..was not so yummy when I made it earlier this afternoon. I forgot to let the water boil first and by the time I realized what I was doing by putting the potatoes in the water before the water boiled they were already in the pan. lol. I tried to fix it by letting it stay in longer, but I apparently didn't let them sit in and boil long enough. Blarg. I did a crazy amount of wash this week and now I have it all laying on my master bedroom floor. I don't wanna put it away, but I guess it's gotta get done. So I'll do that starting in the morning after I mop my kitchen floor that i've been putting off. I seem to be in this putting off mood this week?!? Yikes. I went to church this evening and the topic was on respect in the kingdom of God. A couple scriptures were from Acts 13:6-12, Matthew 7:12, 1 Corinthians 12:12-18, Malachi 1:6-9, and..I can't remember the last one..but yeah anyway..that gives you the general idea of what we were on tonight. Getting respect for the things and people in the Kingdom of God. Alright, well, it's time for sleepin'. Have a blessed one!

Wednesday

Well, Hello there. Since my old email address got hacked into, I decided to delete everything that was associated with that email and start fresh..of course I can't delete my e-bills though..*tear*. lol. That type of stuff I just had to change with the current. For that just in case thinking. Myemail.com is a pretty neat email host. It's like yahoo, but without the the million emails of spam so far. If you're looking for a new email address place to reside, then I recommend checking them out. There's no benefit to me recommending them to you. Just sharing. I went grocery shopping today. It feels good to have a house stocked with food. I have a house stocked of food and i'm still stuck on dinner. I think it's gonna be an easy light night because it's soo busy today. It's just slow right now because I'm having my son take a nap before Bible Study tonight. I think it's gonna be a make your own night! Choice between: leftovers, hot dogs & chips, or chicken nuggets. Too hot outside to use my oven too..I have a room air conditioner that nicely cools my whole house if done right..but I don't wanna warm up the kitchen / dining room today with my oven. (plus, I wanna be lazy). *shhh!* See how I justify myself there? lol. Hope you all enjoy your Wednesday!
